I don’t remember the article, but I do remember getting that photo taken. The idea was that it was two families from different sides of town, both with a living patriarch/matriarch. This must have been about 1979-1981.

That’s my dear friend Rob Eidson and me flashing our record at the 1991 National Forensic League national tournament, just completed. I remember the weird hotel we were in and watching NBA hoops on the TV. That’s my white Chrysler Lebaron in the background, a gloriously goofy piece of crap car, but one for which I was always grateful.
